FIG.2: The k+-0 distributiosn for data and MC after all analysis requirements except for 'k+-0'. The vertical line and arrow show the accepted region for the signal candidates (k+-0 < -0.002 GeV2/c2). The disagreement betweendata and MC in the range k+-0>0.02GeV2/c2 does not affect the background estimate in the signal region. Data-MC comparisons between many other distributions in teh accepted k+-0 region show good agreement leading us to conclude that the backgrounds are well-modeled in the region of interest.
